THE HYŪGA CLAN
Clan Description: The Hyūga are renowned for possessing the highly coveted Byakugan a kekkei genkai feared for the great visual prowess that it grants its wielder. The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved. The third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, its flow, as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail.Members of the clan are instructed in the use of the Gentle Fist style, which uses the Byakugan to view the opponent's Chakra Pathway System and deal precise blows to disable and impede the flow of chakra. Due to training in this style, Hyūga clan members tend to have excellent chakra control. This is emphasised in techniques that utilise this chakra control, as well as the nuances of the Gentle Fist Art. Clan Traits/Characteristics: The Hyuuga's appearance may differ a lot, but they do have a few common traits. All of them seem to have dark hair, and their skin is usually on the pale side. All clan members also have big pupil-less eyes of a color close to white, with minor differences between different people, that gave the bloodline its name. Branch family members also bear the cross-shaped teal seal on their forehead. The Hyūga Clan are known for their shoulder length jet-black hair and pale skin. As a result of their advanced genetic mutation 'Byakugan' their eyes are strangely pure white. Their attires primarily consist of lose fitted clothing with white and grey being their dominant colors. Like other proud clans their symbol is worn on the back of their members clothing, a symbol of pride.
Clan Personality: Varies per member, but because of their powerful bloodline limit, the Hyuuga tend to be more arrogant than most. Some of them also reach extremes in terms of only respecting strength, as far as disowning their own children who have little talent.

The most notable ability of the Hyūga clan is Byakugan. This is a dōjutsu that grants the wielder a wider field of vision, telescopic vision and the ability to see the chakra system of the opponent. The Byakugan is recognizable due to the eyes' distinct white irises with no visible pupils. While the Byakugan is active, the pupils become a bit more visible, and veins bulge around the user's eyes. Although the Byakugan is usually acquired at birth, there have been cases of late bloomers whose eyes aren't a distinctive white, but upon activation, their eyes will take on the appearance of the Byakugan. For those with an extremely diluted Hyūga bloodline it is possible that the Byakugan may only activate in a single eye.
If transplanted, the Byakugan can be activated and deactivated at will.
FIELD OF VISION: Those who possess a Byakugan have a near-360º field of vision around themselves. Although a well kept secret within the Hyūga Clan, there does exist a small blind spot cone starting the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra and extending outward. This field of vision also extends outward much farther than the normal sight, at base activation this field of vision can extend up to 20M meters from the user. With Dp this range can be increased through investment of Dp.
TELESCOPIC VISION: As a secondary ability the Byakugan also grants its users a high degree of enhanced vision. With a small degree of focus, not only can the Byakugan's vision can see through almost any object, but users can also focus their vision on anything within the range of their Byakugan.
CHAKRA SIGHT: As a tertiary ability, the Byakugan also has an advanced level of chakra sight surpassing every visual examination of chakra in the world. By focusing their Byakugan the user is able to see the chakra pathway system within a target's body and the 361 tenketsu it encompasses and as such they are also able to see the internal chakra within techniques

CLAN ABILITY | CHAKRA EXPULSION
While not exclusively a bloodline trait of the Hyūga Clan, it is important to note that through years of limited focus and training they have learned the ability to expel their chakra in a more advanced way. While a normal shinboi is able to expel chakra from a singular or small group of tenketsu points [usually in their hands or feet] in order to use a Technique, members of the Hyūga clan have learned to expel chakra from any or all of their Tenketsu at any given time. The primary usage of this being expelling a small amount of their own chakra on the tips of their fingers to utilize their own unique taijutsu sytle.
GENTLE FIST: Utilizing both their unique chakra expulsion skills and their Byakugan Dōjutsu the Hyūga Clan have developed their own unique fighting style known as the Gentle Fist. Where something like the Strong Fist exists to break bones and cause external damage the aptly named Gentle Fist does the exact opposite and does so in such a way that it appears to inflict no damage at all to the untrained eye.
As the Byakugan grants the ability to see the internal chakra system of the opponent the Gentle Fist fighting style involves actively attacking an opponent's chakra system by either opening or closing the Tenketsu [Chakra Points] and wreaking havoc on their ability to access and utilize their chakra. TENKETSU UTILIZATION: The Tenketsu or Chakra Points are nodes that exist along the Chakra pathway system and serve as points from which chakra can be released. The 361 points of the Chakra Pathway system follow a similar path as the body's own circulatory system thus the tenketsu are intertwined with the physical organs; because of this enough damage to the Tenketsu through the application of Gentle Fist or other attacks will also cause damage to the organs around them.
Master Level:
Disciplined: 20% Spm boost when using the style, Able to attack the chraka network.
Well Trained: 30% Spm boost when using the style, Able to attack the specific tenketsu points.
Mastered: 40% Spm boost when using the style, Able to 'strike' through armors regardless of chakra.

Description: This technique is the activation of the ability from the eyes previous dormant state. When activated the user’s lavender eyes become more focused, their pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. In an activated state the Byakugan gives a near 360º field of vision at a range specified by the tier investment [default 20m].
By utilizing the second ability of the Byakugan the user is able to see through solid objects, and can use telescopic sight. With a degree of focus the user is able to see off into a vast distance within the range of their Byakugan. Using this ability they are theoretically able to see anything within the range of their technique, but it should be noted that focusing on something far away does leave the clan member open to attacks nearby as their focus is divided. Within this telescopic sight a Byakugan user is also able too see through solid objects within the range of their technique. This ability can see through any physical object, but can be restricted by specific Barrier or Fūinjutsu techniques.
Lastly an active Byakugan allows to see not only the internal chakra system and the Tenketsu, but also the physical chakra that makes up techniques as well. This ability allows them to target the Tenketsu with their Gentle Fist Techniques. Because they are able to see the chakra present in a technique It was also noted that the Byakugan can also discern a transformation and a real person using the eye's ability to see the chakra.

Emphasis: The Jūken emphasizes light high speed attacks that inflicts internal damage and disrupt the body's Chakra Pathway System to ultimately inhibit and an opponent's use of chakra as well as causing severe internal damage.
Requirements: Must be utilizing the Byakugan Activation Technique
Description: The Gentle Fist Style is a form of hand-to-hand combat used only by members of the Hyūga clan. Utilizing their Byakugan all attacks within the Gentle Fist Style are designed to inflicts internal damage and disrupt the body's Chakra Pathway System by attacking the tenketsu. Doing so will inhibit an opponent's use of chakra and depending on the severity of the attacks damage the physical organs that the chakra pathway system surrounds.
To do this, the user surgically injects a small amount of their own chakra usually from the tips of their fingers into an opponent's chakra pathway system. The infiltrating chakra can then be used to disrupt or divert chakra flow by opening or closing an associated tenketsu in the area of the hit. Tenketsu that are closed remain closed for the entire thread or until the attack is reversed by a medic nin or Gentle Fist user.
Techniques utilizing this style fall under two categories; Passive and Active.- Passive Gentle Fist: Passive Gentle Fist strikes refer to attacks written into standard physical combat that do not utilize a technique. With each successful hit 1 cp is drained from the target. With 5 successful hits in the same area close one tenketsu point. These attacks must be noted in the bottom of a post within a spoiler tag in the following format [Attack # | Area].
- Active Gentle Fist: Active Gentle Fist Strikes refer to Techniques which utilize the Gentle Fist functionality, but do so through use of an additional technique. These technique may have added effects such as attacking the Tenketsu from a distance or closing multiple Tenketsu in one attack. Active Gentle Fist Techniques do not drain the standard 1cp per hit as passive hits do.
Inhibiting the Tenketsu of an opponent will also inhibit them in other ways as more of the chakra points are closed off.- 10-29 Tenketsu Closed: Chakra Cost of all techniques goes up by 10% rounded down.
- 71 - 142 Tenketsu Closed: Chakra Cost of all techniques goes up by 30% rounded down.

Description: A basic technique of the Hyuuga clan, it creates small blades of chakra protruding from the user's fingers. While not amazingly powerful, it can cut in any direction like a sharp steel knife, and it can also be used to cut something that is reinforced by chakra and impossible to cut by normal means. However, since the needles are thin and short, it can only create minor wounds even on a fully landed strike.

Description: This technique is extremely simple in its execution, and just as weak. By releasing a bit of chakra from their palm as they attack, the Hyuuga can create a "force wave" that is capable of pushing enemies backwards and works at a long distance as well. However, the damage dealt by this technique itself is practically non-existent, and the knock-back can be almost entirely negated by shinobi who manage to stay firmly on the ground.
A stronger variation of this jutsu is Hakke Hasangeki. Unlike Kuushou that creates a spheric wave of about seven feet in diameter, Hasangeki releases a thin stream of about only one foot, but at greater speed. It is also more like a physical strike, and in itself has the damage potential of a heavy punch. Since it has more force, deals actual, although relatively light, damage and affects an area of the body rather than the whole, thus creating dis-balance in the target's stance, it can push targets much farther back.

Description: The Shōteiuchi is not a complex technique and is not necessarily limited to the Hyūga Clan in its standard form. Shōteiuchi is a a very basic strike consisting of a quick and precise thrust of the user's palm to the the body of the opponent. Through the application of chakra and physical force it may knock an opponent back a few meters giving the user time to gain better footing. If used by a Hyūga they can use this technique to close a cluster of three tenketsu with one hit.

Description:The Chakra Needle technique is a basic technique and early exercise in shape manipulation learned by the Hyūga Clan. It begins by focusing chakra outside the body and manipulating it into small visible needles which can then be propelled at the user's target. By using Byakugan, this technique can be used to hit very small targets or attack a persons chakra network by performing accurate shots into their chakra system. Four [4] needles may be made at one time using this jutsu. Each needle hit can reduce the total chakra capacity by one [1] chakra point. If all four[4] needles hit in the same area it can close one tenketsu. It these needles exceed the range, they disappear.

This blast is wide and unfocused, but when used with pin-point accuracy it is capable of breaking the user free from equal or lower ranked ninjutsu techniques. Description: Hakke Kūshō is a technique performed by members of the Hyuuga Clan in their training in mastering expelling chakra from their Tenketsu. This technique takes a similar focus to the Heavyenly Spin technique, but narrows the focus. Rather than expelling chakra from every point in their body, the user expels chakra from the end of a high speed palm thrust. The compressed chakra is strong enough to knock anyone within mid range [2m - 5m] back to a 10m distance. If the target is within melee to close range [0m - 1m] this technique is capagble of closing a cluster of five[5] tenketsu as well as knocking the target back. A focus blast of this technique is capable of repelling weaponry if aimed precisely.

Description: Hakkeshō Kaiten is a technique performed by members of the Hyuuga Clan, taking advantage of the unique abilities of the Byakugan and the ability to see in almost a complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. If the user is aware of an attack coming near them they can release a large of amount of chakra from all of their tenketsu and begin to spin, rapidly creating a vortex of chakra extending out three[3] meters that can nullify almost any attack. At this level the technique is capable of repelling most physical attacks and weapons. When met with a technique that is of equal chakra cost to this technique both attacks will be dispelled. This technique cannot be held for more than one post. The range and defensive power of this technique can be increased via the Technique Mastery System.

Description:Hakke Kūhekishō is a technique performed by members of the Hyuuga Clan as a more advanced form of the Hakke Kūshō technique. This technique takes a similar focus as its parent technique, but the user instead gathers chakra in both hands and expels the chakra from the end of two high speed palm thrusts. The compressed chakra is strong enough to knock anyone within mid-long range [2m - 10m] back to a 15m distance. If the target is within melee to close range [0m - 1m] this technique is capable of closing a cluster of ten[10] tenketsu as well as knocking the target back to the full 15m distance. If the user is in close to mid range [1m to 5m] this technique will close five [5] tenketsu. A focus blast of this technique is capable of repelling weaponry and weaker techniques if aimed precisely.

Description: Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms is a highly versatile technique that follows the same grain as other Hyūga techniques. Primarily the technique involves the user emitting a constant stream of chakra from their palms whilst enhancing their speed of movement and flexibility to allow them to manipulate the chakra into sixty-four individual blades of chakra. As both an offensive and a defensive technique this technique follows two distinct paths of usage, but the usage can be a mix of the two listed below.- Offensive: When using the technique offensively the blades can be sharpened and launched at a target. The blade becomes a thin crescent projectile that has a length of 2 meters and are capable of cutting through nearly anything. Each offensive usage of the technique reduces the blades by one count. These blades can be launched to a maximum of ten meters.
- Defensive: When used defensively the 'blades' surround the user with a grid patterned sphere that spread out up to two meters from the user. The blades will then slice anything weaker that comes into contact with them to protect the user. Offensive usages of this technique reduce the number of blades in the defensive sphere thus leaving the grid pattern with more openings to attack. The farther this technique extends outward [up to two meters] the wider the grid pattern is thus potentially allowing more enemy techniques to enter through the gaps.
