Overview
In the world of Naruto different people use different types of skills for combat, depending on their preference they master different sorts of combat styles or they just focus on a single fighting style in which they become true masters of the trade. There are different combat styles, all with their different weaknesses and benefits. However you decide to play, your character's combat prowess, is based on the paths you choose.

We have two categories: skills and stats.

Skills

Skills are what you might consider "specialties". Each skill, or "category", defines the level at which a character can utilize the various jutsu that are derived from that type.Instead of picking one specialty per rank and gaining access to jutsu in that skill, you will have the option to spend points on any skill level, allowing you to mix and match different skills to build your very own unique character.  In order to better your skill you'll have to accumulate points and distribute those points amongst your skills in which ever way you please. These points are called Skill Points. You can choose to spend a free skill point on any path as long as you have access to that point. In order to move further up the path you must buy the previous skill point. Each skill cost a single skill point.

Stats
Stats are what you might consider your "physical status". On Modern Age, part of the way your strength is measured is through the rank of your stats. Stats work best for a character if you invest into more than one as they all work together to help you in combat.Stats include things like how fast you are, or how powerful your jutsu are, as well as the strength of your elements or skills. Each stats cost a single stat point.

The Stats are as follows:
Perception || Ability.
Chakra Capacity || Available Chakra Amount.
Strength || Striking and Lifting Power.
Agility || Movement Ability and Stealth.
Dexterity || Kinesthetic Sense.
Perception || Mental Ability.

Investment

In order to Grow" your character's traits, you need to use Exp you acquire through roleplaying to specialize in the various trees available (See the [url= [Only admins are allowed to see this link] AND RYO SYSTEM[/url] for information on earning Exp and Ryo). You can also gain points by completing character task found in the [Only admins are allowed to see this link].

Skills


Genjutsu
Genjutsu - Proficiency with Genjutsu and knowledge of the Art of Genjutsu. Genjutsu is a category of jutsu with effects that are purely illusions - they affect the mind rather than the body. Like ninjutsu, genjutsu requires the use of chakra and hand seals, but its main purpose is to cripple the opponent's willpower in order to win.

The tier levels for Genjutsu are as follows:

 Ninjutsu

Ninjutsu - Proficiency with Ninjutsu and knowledge of the Art of Ninjutsu. That allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing, including, but not limited to, manipulation of elements, transformation, and even aiding the ninja in evading attacks. Most rely on the use of chakra and hand seals. As some techniques become second nature to an experienced ninja, they can perform them almost effortlessly.

Those that utilize Kugutsu are thus known as puppeteers. Kugutsu uses chakra threads (ninjutsu) to control puppets from a distance - these chakra threads can be used to move the puppets as well as activate traps or hidden weapons on the puppets. They use a ninjutsu-based fighting style that involves the use of puppets to fight rather than the user fighting themselves.Unlike the other skills, Kugutsu is not a category of jutsu, instead is falls under ninjutsu.

The tier levels for Kugutsu are as follows:

Basic Kugutsu:May control puppets of Minimal difficulty and only control a single puppet at a time

Bukijutsu

Proficiency in Ninja Weapons, and understand the art of weapons. Bukijutsu can be used in combination with other skills in order to achieve more powerful, devastating effects. While most ninja have a basic grasp of the most common ninja weapons and tools, such as kunai and shuriken, this is a skill that is very flexible.

Iryō Ninjutsu

Iryō ninjutsu is a branch of ninjutsu that focuses on healing, but also includes the manipulation of the user's and other's bodies. On  Six Paths, only those that practice this at higher levels are labeled "medic-nin" and extensive knowledge on the human body, herbs, medicines, and poisons.

Fūinjutsu

Fūinjutsu refers to sealing techniques. These are the jutsu used to seal objects, live beings, chakra, other things within other objects, be they weapons, scrolls, or even sealing things within a living creature. This also includes the unsealing of sealed objects, etc.

Chakra

As its name implies, the chakra system helps the players understand how their jutsu is costing them chakra wise by giving them a general idea of what the jutsu costs in the first place. Jutsu are the main form of non-physical combat in Naruto. They expend chakra in order to perform feats normally impossible by humans. With most jutsu, it’s activation requires some sort of string of hand seals. There are twelve hand seals to choose from.You have to pay for the 12 hand seals, and train in order to learn these jutsu, as they are a finite IC(in character) resource, just like chakra. The chakra system is a base for players in terms of how to gauge an event and the usage of chakra behind their creations, heated situations required a more detailed, technical system.

Low: This is the lowest chakra consumption. These jutsu are very simple in execution, and as such are very easy to repeat.Techniques of this rank usually do a small amount of damage or slightly less than average aid, so don’t expect a bone-breaking attack or ultimate health boost. This are consider to be D Rank Jutsu. and cost 20 Cp.

Average:The average rank of jutsu. Techniques of this rank usually do an average amount of damage or moderate aid. Weapons and equipment of this rank are efficient but still hold nothing chakra conductive. The Jutsus are C ranked level and cost 30 cp.

Mid: Although not the easiest, these techniques are still light in terms of chakra consumption. The above average rank of jutsu.  Techniques of this rank do about an above average amount of damage and a good amount of aid, so bone-breaking techniques and even bone-healing techniques are a possibility. These are B Rank level Jutsu, normally cost 40 Cp.

High: The elite rank of jutsu. Techniques of this rank are capable of killing an opponent or healing a fatal injury. These are consider to be A Rank level Jutsu and cost 50 Cp.

Massive: As its name implies, these techniques are ridiculous in consumption, and as such, are usually one-shots that tend to not be repeated more than once a thread. Because they require so much energy, they also possess ridiculous power.  Techniques of this rank are capable of killing, causing a large radius of destruction within an area, and even bringing the dead back to life. S rank powered Jutsu pay a chakra cost of 80 Cp.


Health

Vitality  are a standard way of gauging the amount of damage a player can withstand . Once this vitality reaches zero, the character is either rendered incapacitated or dead, depending on events. At times, an attack can cause instant death. At other times, it has caused minor damage . Once your health reaches 0 or fatigue reaches 100%, you are considered defeated and knocked out for a given time. During this time, you cannot continue your RP expect within the hospital. Gaining 25 health per post until you reach your max, you slowly heal and regenerate at a hospital. Medical Nin's can speed up the hospital time with their healing abilities or operations by 50 points per post.  So if your Vitality is a hundred it takes four post to completely heal or if you post with a medical nin it was take one post from a medical nin and two from you. Vitality is determine by level.

Level 1:Your health/Vitality pool is a total of 100 points.
Level 2:Your health/Vitality pool is a total of 150 points.
Level 3:Your health/Vitality pool is a total of 200 points.
Level 4:Your health/Vitality pool is a total of 250 points.
Level 5:Your health/Vitality pool is a total of 300 points.

In the RP, fatigue and injury is shown in the form of a reduction in physical capabilities like: speed, tracking and reaction, ability to use high grade techniques, and the ability to mold chakra properly. Not all attacks target or affect the opponent’s entire body, and so when a player uses a technique that can logically target a single limb, and clearly describes doing so, then they are able to inflict damage to that limb specifically in addition to the normal damage calculations and effects as described above. Specifically, one can target the head, the torso, the leg(s), or the arm(s). If the given attack connects and inflicts more than "X" amount of the target’s total health pool then these additional, adverse effects will be applied to the opponent.

Injury Types/ Fatigue
Physical: This type of damage, as the name suggests, related to physical health. Taijutsu attacks and most Ninjutsu attacks, other attacks like concussive blasts/force, penetrating forces, cuts, poisons/toxins, internal damage, etc. This damage is the easiest to determine and understand. The damage points of a technique will be subtracted from the afflicted character's overall health. This is in addition to whatever physical restrictions that may occur as a result of being physically damaged by a jutsu.

Arms - Damage/Effects​
Level 1, 20% Fatigue - An attack causing this amount of damage to the arms will cause the victim's arm based Taijutsu to cause 10% less damage and forming handseals/strikes will take longer 10% loss in SPM.
Level 2, 40% Fatigue - An attack causing this amount of damage to the arms will cause further trouble with hand seals SPM is at a 20% Loss. The victim will be unable to use more than ten handseals overall per turn.
Level 3, 60% Fatigue - An attack causing this amount of damage will limit the users ability to effectively use their arms in combat. For any jutsu using the arms offensively such as Tai/Kenjutsu or even Chidori style Nintaijutsu, that are ranked above B rank will cause 10 damage to the victim and his arm based Taijutsu will deal 15 less damage.
Level 4, 80% Fatigue - An attack causing this amount of damage will have a very debilitating effect on the victim, much like the B-Rank damage. However, now any actions using the arms will cause 15 damage, including the usage of handseals. Handseals SPM and smiliar things is reduced by 15%
Level 5, 100% Fatigue - This amount of damage entirely destroys the arm(s)(prohibiting the use for the rest of the topic.) even after the battle recovery time will take an additional day of rest. This always requires a trip to the hospital to be healed or a medical Ninja Attention.

Each increasing level carries all debilitating effects of previous levels of damage

Legs - Damage/Effects​
Level 1, 20% Fatigue - An attack causing this amount of damage to the legs will cause the victim's leg based Taijutsu to cause 10 less damage and their base speed lowered by 10%.
Level 2, 40% Fatigue - An attack causing this amount of damage to the legs will cause further trouble with movement. The victim will be unable to move more than 10 meters per turn under their own volition without causing 10 damage to themselves.
Level 3, 60% Fatigue - An attack causing this amount of damage will limit the user's ability to effectively use their legs in combat, speed is reduced by 20%. For any jutsu using the legs offensively such as Taijutsu or certain types of Ninjutsu that are ranked above B rank, the user will receive 15 damage.
Level 4, 80% Fatigue- An attack causing this amount of damage will have a very debilitating effect on the victim, much like B rank damage. However, now any actions using the legs will cause 20 damage, including quick movements using the legs and they will be unable to use body flicker of any type. There speed is also reduced by 30%
Level 5, 100% Fatigue - This amount of damage entirely destroys the legs (prohibiting the use for the rest of the topic.)  even after the battle recovery time will take an additional day of rest

Torso/General Body - Damage/Effects​
Level 1 - An attack causing this amount of damage to the torso will cause the victim's Ninjutsu using the stomach/lungs to mold chakra to cause 10% less damage.
Level 2 - An attack causing this amount of damage to the torso will cause further trouble with Ninjutsu, the victim pays 10% more chakra for the usage. The victim will be unable to use jutsu they have to spit out or use their torso to form without causing 10 damage to themselves.
Level 3 - An attack causing this amount of damage will limit the user's ability to effectively use their Genjutsu in combat. For any Genjutsu or Ninjutsu that is ranked above B rank, the user will receive 20 damage and an overall reduction of damage to Ninjutsu by 20%, also the cost of by 20%.
Level 4 - An attack causing this amount of damage will have a very debilitating effect on the victim, much like the B Rank. However, now any actions using the molding of chakra in the stomach will cause 30 damage, including Taijutsu and/or Genjutsu. Cost of casting is increased by 30%
Level 6 - This amount of damage entirely destroys the torso even after the battle recovery (prohibiting the use of jutsu for the rest of the topic.)  time will take an additional day of rest.

Spiritual/Psychological - Damage/Effects
Level 1, 20% - Techniques causing this amount of damage weakens their spiritual. This will require them to use additional 10 chakra to cast genjutsu or spiritual techniques like Yamanaka or Yin Release. Likewise, they will require an additional 20 chakra to break out of genjutsu.
Level 2, 40% - Techniques causing this amount of damage will weaken the user's mental stability, causing them to suffer an additional 10 damage for using genjutsu or spiritual techniques.
Level 3, 60% - Techniques causing this amount of damage harms the user's focus, causing them to become incapable of using genjutsu/spiritual techniques of S-rank and higher, all other forms of jutsu pay 20% more chakra to cast. Speeds of preforming jutsu speed is also reduced by 20%
Level 4, 80% - Techniques causing this amount of damage will severely degrade the user's mental capacity causing them to suffer an additional 20 damage for using genjutsu or spiritual techniques. Their ability to track and process their opponent's movements is reduced by 25% as well as making them incapable of using genjutsu/spiritual techniques without causing 20 damage. Other jutsu speed is decreased by 30 and cost is increase by 25%
Level 5, 100% - Techniques that cause this amount of damage will completely shatter the user's mind. Even after battle recovery, they'll need an additional day to recover.

Chakra Network-Damage and Effects
Level 1, 20% - Techniques causing this amount of damage to the chakra network will require them to use additional 10 chakra to cast jutsu and reduce chakra by 10%
Level 2, 40% - Techniques causing this amount of damage will increase chakra cost by 20 chakra and reduce the target chakra by 20%.
Level 3, 60% -Techniques causing this amount of damage will increase chakra cost by 30 chakra and reduce the target chakra by 30%. Causing them to become incapable of using jutsu techniques of S-rank pay 20% more chakra to cast. Speeds of preforming jutsu handseals is also reduced by 20%
Level 4, 80% - Techniques causing this amount of damage will severely degrade the user's chakra. Techniques causing this amount of damage will increase chakra cost by 40 chakra and reduce the target chakra by 40%. Pool Capacity

Chakra capacity, as the name implies dictates how much chakra your character is able to mold in a single thread - and they can use no more than that. Chakra capacity is shown as "Chakra Points (CP)". And Stamina is the amount of engery to run , kick, punch and etc.

As you use chakra, you gradually become more exhausted - going below 10% of your chakra capacity can result in a loss of consciousness, and using up every single point of your chakra results in death.

With no investment, a user has access to 75 CP, 75 stamina

1 Point: At this tier a user has access to 100 CP. 100 stamina
2 Points: At this tier a user has access to 125 CP. 125 stamina
3 Points: At this tier a user has access to 150 CP. 150 stamina
4 Points: At this tier a user has access to 175 CP. 175 stamina

Strength

The core power behind the physical fighter, strength is a determining factor for many combat situations. It does not only improve arm strength either - strength is used to determine the power of elbow-attacks, knee-attacks, kicking, head butting, and a variety of other physical techniques, making it the ideal tree for Taijutsu users. Jumping height and one's ability to lift heavier objects are also benefits of Strength.

Without investment (at 0), a user is capable of 25kg[55lbs] lift and 1m standing jump height, deal 5 dmg.

Agility

Agility revolves around two major abilities for combat: speed and evasion. With regards to evasion, not only do those who invest their time in this tree gain incredible flexibility, but also unmatched body movement. This includes the running speed and the speed in which one's body parts move.

While agility grants quicker movement, a character's evasiveness is determined by a combination of agility and perception, as well as the opponent's dexterity. Additionally, the higher an opponent's perception is, the more likely they are to detect even the most stealthy of characters.

Maximum sprinting speed with no investment is 16m/s (35 Mph).

Dexterity

This Stat revolves around quick hand movement. Dexterity judges how quickly hand seals can be produced which is incredibly important to those who wish to dish out Ninjutsu after ninjutsu. Essentially, hand seals are simply a measurement of preparation time for techniques, and are there as a reminder that techniques are never instant - the actual hand seals themselves don't particularly matter. While jutsu are the primary focus of the Dexterity's speed trait, martial artists and weaponry users also benefit greatly, with one's hand movements being the main determining factor in weapon efficiency and martial arts skill. he speed increase for physical attacks applies exclusively to hand or fist-based strikes unless an appropriate stance revolving around kicks is applied.

Without investment into this tree, both hand seal speed and attack speed are half the standard rate.

Perception

Ninja to be as alert and focused as they are strong. Being able to notice those acute changes in the environment, the chakra presence of another or notice the toxin in the air before a lethal dose is inhaled are all necessary for survival, just as increased body mass and movement speed are. This is where Perception comes in handy. It does all of the above, and a little bit more. Perception has two major bonuses; the first being the more obvious one. It gives one better awareness of surroundings, and consequently a resilience to stealth or other underhanded tactics.

While high Perception allows easier detection of others, if the target has high Agility this becomes more difficult.

Note that while Perception allows you to notice and pick up on movements faster, this is only a mental reaction, and being able to dodge faster movements requires the ability to move faster (which is achieved through the Agility tree). Thus, high Perception alone does not allow you to become more evasive (but it helps to increase that ability significantly with enough investment).

Accuracy is the level of precision it takes to hit a moving target. For simplicity Accuracy is defined in tiers in reference to a stationary practice target (think a dart board or shooting range bullseye) and is defined by a reduction to a natural level of inaccuracy.

In terms of a moving target, accuracy is best determined by comparing an opponents agility against a user's accuracy and perception tiers. The more perceptive and accurate a user is it allows them to better anticipate to counter the agility of an opponent.

Without investment into this tree, you're able to strike non-moving objects within a 15cm inaccuracy.

9 points: Strike moving objects at 16 m/s distant objects within a 15cm inaccuracy.
10 points: Strike moving objects at 16 m/s distant objects within a 13cm inaccuracy.

Accuracy Investment: inaccuracy goes down to by 2cm, and Increase Perception by 2m/s moving objects per investment onces you strike moving objects at x amount of distant with perfect precision (within reason).
